YOU MIGHT TRY WORLDOFFILIPINAS.COM
2 :
If you mean you want someone who speaks their language, just contact visiting nurse agencies in your area, they should be listed under that heading in the phone book. Let them know that you're interested in someone who speaks that language. You can also try any Phillipino churches or social clubs and ask them to get the word out to their members and they may come up with someone who is a nurse's aid who can help them and speak their language.

there is PLENTYYYY of nursing jobs here in adelaide. i just dont know wether your degree is accepted here or not if not i think u just do a short course for it. but theres definitely plenty of nursing jobs here

Nurses are in such short supply, you should have no problem. Just do your research by asking a potential employer if you fully meet their standards of qualifications. Search for the city's (city of your choice) newspaper on-line and look at their ads. You'll most likely find e-mail addresses you can use to get specific answers from the people who really matter - the ones who would be hiring you.

G'day, Yes you can! The weblink below will tell you what you need to do. It is intended for British nurses, but the information is valid for yourself as well. Good luck and welcome to Australia :)

Hi: I am a nurse in the Philipines. How long would it take to get to Canada if I was offered a position there?
The quickest route possible? Would it be the temporary worker program or the foreign worker program. Any idea? Thank

Check on air flight schedules for departing from your area to your stop in Canada. That should tell you the time it will land.
2 :
Best way is to go as a temporary worker. You can get a nurses license in BC. If you have a spouse and kids, you can take them too. Your spouse can get an open work permit. You can apply for permanent resident status through the provincial nominee program after you work for a few months. This page should be helpful to you: http://www.aved.gov.bc.ca/provincialnominee/strategicoccupations/healthprofessionals.htm

Nurses are in demand. Do you want to just work in canada and then go home, or do you want to emigrate. temporary worker will need a work permit - http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/work/index.asp If you stay in Canada and work for 3 to 5 years on a work permit, then you may be eligible to apply for PR - but it will NOT be just a few months. BUT if at any time you lose your job or your work permit is NOT renewed, then you MUST return to the Philippines. immigration will mean skilled worker category - http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/index.asp Under the skilled worker category it is currently taking about 5 years to process skilled workers applications. You have to stay in Philippines while this is being processed. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/international/02a-skilled-fed.asp (scroll down to Manila)
