modeling? in manila philippines

modeling? in manila philippines?
i'm 15. 5'7 tall. uhm tan skin (or something lighter than that but definitely not like snow white). Long black hair with bangs swept on the side and a pretty smile (yeah, i love my smile). no pimples. is this enough for modeling? MANILA, PHILIPPINES. what modeling agency is good? **honestly i wanna do the runway and i wish it would be affiliated to great brands...** is modeling really that hectic...? i'm a nursing student at UST (yeahboi), can i juggle my studies with modeling? to the person who first answered.. wow, thankyou for being so nice and supportive. look, this may sound cheesy but here are the usual feedbacks... lol some people say i look american. some says mexican. some says middle eastern. thankyou alot.

you could possibly. they usually go for the mixed ones though, right? have you ever been approached in public if you want to model? that's usually how it goes. i think you can do it. loads of people do. i'm not very sure what the good agencies are but try all of them! once you get in a magazine or whatever, just push your way through! good luck

i don't know how it works in the philippines, but usually runway models should be 5'9 or taller. but agencies bend the rules a little for the slightly shorter girls with unique features by lying on their show cards. you should research the internet for agencies near you and try to find the feedback from models that are in that agency or have experience with it. remember, agencies don't ask for money straight up. if they do that, it's a scam. agencies make money through commision. once you find legitimate agencies, see if they have open calls. if they do, go to one. if they like you and think your look is right for them, they might sign you right on the spot. if they don't have open calls, then there's usually a way you can send in your pictures and measurements. it is hectic and go, go, go for the high fashion models. they travel a lot. fashion week is especially tiring. i don't think commercial modeling is too hectic. there are also some that work part time.

In 20 years working in medicine in the US, it's safe to say I've worked with more Filipinos than Americans. Filipino LVNs (LPN outside of California) are heavily employed by nursing homes in the US, largely because Filipinos will do the dirty work for much lower wages than a US-trained nurse. Get your RN or you won't have as many options in the setting you work in, the type of job you do, or the amount of money you make. As far as I know, passing the NCLEX in the Philippines is the same as in the US-- it's the same test, or it wouldn't have the same name. Because nurses are in such high demand, it shouldn't be difficult for you to find a job when you graduate. It is especially helpful that you have dual citizenship, because you won't have to go through the hassles of dealing with the visa nightmare.

What are some schools that are really good to earn a BSN in the Philippines

What are some schools that are really good to earn a BSN in the Philippines?
I'm thinking of going to New Era University which is located in Manila to earn my BSN. I just wanna hear some opinions regarding that school whether it would be good for nursing. It's a religious school so I don't know if that will have an effect with earning the degree.
