Actually no...but with 2 caveats. If you graduated from the same school and they have a hospital..eg FEU..as a top graduate they may offer you a position...maybe. Second..St. Lukes, Captital, Medical City, Makati Med..will give you a one year internship, without pay, and with a donation on your part... It's a hard road sorry to say. Better go to a provincial hospital and work for a year...again for free. After that go to Saudi for 2 yrs...
4 :
Out of ten hospitals there is one. Just try,if you are lucky then you will get a job.

We have a glut of newly registered b=nurses from our Colleges here that if you want to work in a hospital , instead of you being paid , you have to pay the hospital to take you in . Reason ? The hospitals know that nurses who get employment in Philippine Hospitals just want to gain experience , for maybe two years and then they will go abroad to work there for the US Dollars and use the experience they got from the Philippine Hospital to gain foreign employment . So to get employed by a hospital here , either the school you graduated from is the owner of the hospital or your family relations know somebody from the Stockholders of the hospital or you know someone high up in the government or you are Top of the Board Passers. If not , then apply for a flight attendant work in Emirates , Qatar or Cathay Pacific airlines.

SAD TO SAY there are no private or government hospitals that is hiring newly registered nurses at the moment in the Philippines. In approximate number there are about 100,000 newly registered nurses in the Philippines. And this year alone there are approximate 40,000 graduates that will add to that number. Year in and year out, there are more and more newly graduate nurses in the Philippines which the government are now using the policy of pay for certificate meaning every nurses who is newly registered nurse have to pay the hospital for a fee of Php 10,000 for 11 months for them to be awarded a certificate which they couldn't use either locally or abroad. Because it is completely useless. NOW THE GOVERNMENT is investigating this hospitals that use and abuse these newly registered nurses to be able to charge them with civil and criminal charges. The only problem is that NO NURSE has ever come out and complain about the abuse. SO the only remedy you got is none other than to apply to some jobs which is out of your league or out of your profession like call center or sales staff in a company. If you will wait for this to be straighten out or make it proper you might end up dead in no time. BUT the DOH or the Department of Health secretary is now planning to hire these new registered nurses and fill them in the provinces and providing them a starting salary of 8,000 pesos and a bonus coming from the hospitals they will working on with another 2,000 incentives and allowances. Totalling 10,000 pesos better than nothing I suppose. But these places could be in Mindanao and Visayas area not in Metro Manila.

What does it cost per year to train a student nurse in Manila
What does it cost per year to train a student nurse in Manila?
Are there enough professors left in the speciality to train the students? Are there enough students left to serve the needs of the Philippine people after the UK and others have recruited their experienced personel? Are the professors or trainers adequately rewarded for their expertese and labours?

It depends on what type of nursing. But they dont pay up front per class. they pay per test. I support a student in ozamiz and i pay about 600 dollars a year for her to go to school. And that does not include food or shelter
2 :
Probably around a thousand dollars on the average. Some may be more expensive but should also be near there. This does not include expenses, books, uniforms and other day to day expenses... There are still a lot of good teachers and they are not adequately paid or rewarded. That is the reason a lot of students are studying nursing so that they can move out of the country and earn more.
3 :
$600-1200 i'd say. But it really depends on what kind of school tey are attending. It doesn't include board and lodging of course. if you want to communicate with the school regarding fees then find the schools name and number. here's one of the schools that has affiliates in the US though.

would you choose "birth control" or "death penalty"
would you choose "birth control" or "death penalty" ?
I think our country is going "soft" due to constant CBCP pressure. what if the public and CBCP were allowed to choose one option for a "better society", which one would you choose and why? how about CBCP, what do u think would they choose? lately these reports of gang rapes in the country (one just in Quezon Ave) : http://www.abs-cbnnews.com/nation/metro-manila/09/23/10/woman-abducted-q-av-gang-raped-3-men http://www.gmanews.tv/story/202170/justice-sought-for-raped-health-worker-in-maguindanao the other one, includes a nurse victim raped and beaten left for dead, now half of her body is paralyzed, what help could the CBCP give? your thoughts? @Nesquick - it's called Catholic Bishops Church of the Philippines (Filipinos refer to it simply as the Catholic Church)

It's frustrating to read a question and the asker uses intitials for the most important part of the question. I have no idea what CBCP stands for but you seem to be asking a very interesting question and it frustrates me. Please, explain what CBCP stands for, thank you. :D
2 :
Birth control. It's been statistically proven that the death penalty is not as much of a crime deterrent as people believe it to be. Birth control on the other hand, is a set of preventative methods that are meant to protect sexually active individuals and their partners. It isn't fair to have people choose one or the other because they deal with two very different facets of society. Birth control deals with the sexual and overall health of the general public, while the death penalty is mainly concerned with crime and the just prosecution of those who are convicted of such.
3 :
Both -- Even Jesus wanted to tell us to obey the government laws.. So if both are in Phil. constitution, simply obey them. In real christianity, we don't tolerate evil, and death penalty is one form of not tolerating the evil. Birth - control on the other hand, is an economic strategy to make the distribution of country's wealth feasible..
4 :
both should be implemented as they were thousands of years ago. fortunately for the criminals today that some humanitarian laws of men don't allow cutting of both feet and hands and let them live for the most heinous crime.
5 :
DEATH PENALTY TO THE CBCP.
6 :
Death Penalty. Too many crimes occurring outside my house.
7 :
I believe in both one no family should have a litter of kids they can't feed or the kids teeth are rotting at such a young age. For the death penalty you also need that to keep the criminals from breeding. Your corrupt politicians need to be executed. You steal from me you better hope a cop takes you because I will kill the person who steals from me.
8 :
I would choose Birth-Control.
9 :
How about some semantic change: 1. Birth penalty 2. Death control A word to the wise.
