Need help plan a trip to Manila?
One of my friends asked me to go to Manila with her and she wants me to plan it since she is so busy with school and all. She has never been… her parents told her to go home see Manila when she graduates nursing school as a gift so we are planning to go next summer. Heres my questions: You can answer 1 or all up to you.. just any info is good. What are nice things to do there places to visit? Nice restaurants that serves Filipino food? What is a good hotel (Manila) to stay where there are things to do around? What month is a good time to go? Think she is planning to go next summer after she graduates. May-Aug we can go. Heat/humidity/rain don’t bother us we are from FL. Any good websites you can post is good too thanks.

Filipina here :) May is hot in Manila >< Well it's hot year round ... but I guess you're used to it

Just want to clarify some things.. How long will you be staying in Manila? There are many hotels here that can accommodate you, it just depends on how much your budget is. :) In Manila, you could go malling, food tripping in Binondo, visit Intramuros and other old churches, ride a jeepney etc. There's so much to see in the Philippines not only in Manila. If you love the beach try going to Pagudpud, Boracay or Palawan including Coron. If you want to experience a laid-back atmosphere in the mountains, try going to Banaue or Sagada in Mountain Province.
